If I ever go to Flushing, it's normally for CULINARY purposes (the great variety of restaurants, the myriad markets featuring hard to find Asian ingredients, products).
Been considering going in just for its other "features" as well, assuming its worth the LONG track in from Manhattan on the 7 line.
But, after reading recent reviews, and the RATES quoted, it leaves me wondering - is it WORTH it?
I assumed it would be somewhat cheaper out in Queens, what with the increased competition and lower rents, but apparently the rates, for most places, are the same as in the city!
So, the question is - is it WORTH it schlepping out to Queens in search of GREAT values, or is it just a FOOL'S errand?
Thanks in advance for any input, gents.
