I was debating today back-and-forth in my head go to Mamaroneck or go to New Rochelle go to Mamaroneck go to New Rochelle
Decide to go to Mamaroneck but the regular parking lot I go to across the street was full. I take a loop and decide to park right out front about 4 parking spaces North of the front door, which is very unusual for me
Park the car get out put quarters in the meter and a police car with lights on but no sirens parks right in front of the door. I put in my last quarter and get back in my car
Two uniform cops run up the stairs and 2 minutes later come down the stairs with one Asian women dressed in huge sweatpants and sweatshirt and two large pocketbooks of her belongings. They escort her into the back of the police car and drive off towards the police station. I barely recognized her because of what she was wearing and in broad daylight, as this was 3:30 in the afternoon, but I’m pretty sure it was Tina
As I’m sitting in my car saying WOW what was I almost in the middle of, 3 plain clothes cops come out of the door wearing belt badges and are talking at the front door. Couple of minutes later 4 or 5 more plain clothes cops come out the front door!
As I’m sitting in my car saying oh my god what did I just miss by 3 minutes they started to disperse down the sidewalk. One or two were the fire marshal and/or fire inspector all others plain clothes cops
As they all dispersed and I’m still parked there a lot of normal people are coming up and down the street unaware of what just happened, they’re just going about their day. Then one of them, a middle-age man, decided to go up the stairs and 45 seconds he comes down the stairs and continues on his way down the street.
I guess the door was locked or they said come back later
I back out of my spot and continue on my way and I am very happy that the parking lot was full and I had to circle the block for an extra 5 minutes or I may not be writing this
