Looks like Empire in Yonkers might be no mo

Last week, I visited during their hours & they were closed. Tried again this morning, still closed, & no answer from any of their 3 phone #s. Not lookin good, gents

Yes sign looks legit from the fire dept. But sometimes to obscure reasons, different civic departments are used to justify closing. There was once a place further up by kfc condemmed by the health dept. I also like the irony of what appear to be the fire fighter equivalent of the pba sticker for 2022 next to it.

Don’t think they were busted. This fine establishment has been a staple in Yonkers for many years and Yonkers is a very liberal city. Second hilliest city in America, FYI…. of course nothings on the level

Sorry to ask when did you make the call? I spoke to a regular provider I see and she said the same thing but that was about a month ago.
